Our Story

With three little ones under three, my sister and I were spending a lot of time at the change table—and the covers we had just weren’t working. Fabric ones meant constant washing, and we found ourselves using towels, disposable covers (pricey and not eco-friendly), or just the cold plastic mat.

Then came our lightbulb moment: what if the top half was soft and cozy for baby’s head, and the bottom half was wipeable for quick cleanups? We made a few prototypes, and they worked so well we started sharing them with family and friends—who loved them too!

And that’s how Bubs First was born.

Since 2015, we’ve sold thousands of our change mat covers across Australia and beyond. We love them because they’re both stylish and practical—making life a little easier for anyone changing a nappy.
