Why use a wipeable baby change mat cover?

Traditional fabric change mat covers often need to be removed and washed after accidents or leaks. Bubs First wipeable baby change mat covers are designed with a soft minky top for baby’s comfort and a waterproof wipe clean bottom section to help reduce washing and make nappy changes quicker and easier for parents.

How many nappy changes does a newborn need each day?

Newborns can require anywhere from 8–12 nappy changes per day during the early months. Many parents find having a wipeable change mat cover helps reduce laundry and makes frequent changes more convenient, especially during overnight feeds and busy newborn stages.

What makes Bubs First different from other change mat covers?

Unlike traditional full fabric covers, Bubs First combines a soft minky fabric top with a waterproof wipeable bottom section. This means parents can quickly wipe away messes instead of removing and washing the entire cover after every accident.

Are wipeable change mat covers safe for babies?

How can I reduce baby laundry during the newborn stage?

Babies create a surprising amount of washing during the newborn stage. Using practical products like wipeable change mat covers can help reduce how often fabrics need to be fully washed after small messes and leaks.

How long does it take for my order to arrive?

We aim to post within 48 hours of receiving payment for an order Monday to Friday. Shipping is generally 3–5 business days Australia wide. Please contact us for any countries which we do not currently ship to.

Will I receive a tracking number for my order?

Yes. You will first receive an email to advise that we are processing your order. You will then receive a tracking number from Sendle or Australia Post via email.

Can I buy your product in any stores?

No unfortunately you can currently only purchase our patented change mat covers through our website at www.bubsfirst.com/shop.

What size change table mats does your product fit?

Our covers fit most standard Australian change mats as they have an adjustable tensioner on the back of the change mat cover. We have listed many of the most popular change mats we have trialled our covers on within each product description. The dimensions of the mat used in our images are approximately 78cm x 49cm x 11.5cm.

What materials are used for your product?

The fabric on the top half of the change mat cover is a soft textured minky fabric designed for your baby’s comfort. The bottom half is made from a premium polyurethane laminate or PUL fabric which is wipeable and quick drying.

What are the care instructions for the Bubs First Change Mat Cover?

Wash before use in cool hand wash or gentle machine wash separately. Line dry only but do not leave in the sun for extended periods of time as the laminate may lift from the polyester fabric. Do not dry clean, bleach, tumble dry or expose to hot temperatures.

Can I make a request to restock a certain colour or pattern for my change mat?
